Join AOS as we are welcomed back at the Garden City Bird Sanctuary.  We are so fortunate to have made the acquaintance of this wonderful group.  The Garden City Bird Sanctuary is a 9 acre community nature preserve at Nassau County Stormwater Storage Basin #232 in Garden City, New York. The entrance is located at 182 Tanners Pond Road. It is managed by the Garden City Bird Sanctuary, Inc., a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our season runs from the last weekend of April through the last full weekend of September. During our season the property is open on weekends only from 10 AM until 6 PM, weather permitting. There is no charge to visit. Over 10,000 people have been active in helping the Bird Sanctuary, and we welcome new volunteers.   Join our volunteers as we celebrate the Summer Solstice.
