The monthly program of the Lima Astronomical Society is at 8:00 p.m. each month. Anyone interested in astronomy is welcome.
The program for July will be Gerry Geise talking about his employment with Delphos Astronomer Leslie Peltier. Peltier discovered several comets and novae. Peltier was once described by Harlow Shapley as "the world's greatest non-professional astronomer". Gerry has lots of stories having been close to the Peltier family for many years.
There will NOT be public observing after the program meetings. Public observing will be scheduled on separate nights.
