Comments and anecdotes about the event:
It started around 1:00 PM and lasted until 4:00 PM. They didn’t have a count but they felt it was over 300 people. Lots of families and activities. They had a raffle for the children that filled out a sticker card that showed they visited most of the booths. AOH donated a telescope, a tripod, and a backpack for the raffle. We had a lot of activity at our booth with a lot of givealways (pictures, stickers, and planet activity packs.) In addition, we had the Solar Scope set up which people enjoyed and we had a planet model that showed the orbits of the planets around the Sun, and we had a turning Earth-Moon-Sun model which showed the tilt of the Earth and the seasons. The kids enjoyed that a lot. All in all a great event!
