Event

On May 20th, at exactly 4:25 PM and 36.1 seconds, the International Space Station will transit across the Moon while still in the daylight hours at the location Hot Work Welding Service.  Although this is not the ideal setting, it is rare for this transit to happen so close in the Tidewater Area.  It is located in the Coinjock, North Carolina area off Caratoke Hwy (US 158).

Please consider coming out to this site and bring your binoculars, telescopes, and cameras.  No doubt, this will be the height of the observing reports for the June BBAA Meeting.

I will shoot this short .MOV file from my Seestar.  Please come out before 4:00 PM to set up, early.
