Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Brief restart of the Chesapeake Planetarium by the now-retired planetarium director and friend of the BBAA. The event included a 1 hour planetarium show on "The Christmas Star" and a 30 minute observing session on the planetarium lawn. Mr. Jeff Goldstein demonstrated his Seestar S50 electronic telescope for the crowd, Mr. Kent Blackwell employed the Planetarium's Celestron 14" SCT, and club members Mr. Mark Ost, Mr. Shawn Loescher, Mr. John Almeter and Mr. Richard Thiemann setup their personal telescopes to show the heavens to all gathered on a chilly night!
