Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
This event, advertised as “Supermoon over Maumelle” was set up with the intent of showcasing the library’s telescopes and getting people stop for a short time and experience the beauty of the bright full moon. Also, the people who came by our tables learned how to see the Man in the moon, the Lady in the moon, and the Rabbit in the moon. It was surprising that so few of the people knew of any of these sights or stories. Taking photos with cell phones was very popular!
