White House Public Library will host the 3rd annual Fandomcon on Saturday, June 8th to kick off thier Summer Reading Program. This year's theme is space.

CAS will set up solar telescopes for the event on the lawn between the library and city hall.  

The Fandomcon will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

There will be programs going on in both locations so people are constantly moving between the two buildings.  Approximately 400 people attend the 2018 Fandomcon and expect at least that many for this year.

The White House Library Fandomcon is a free one-day event. It will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 9am. to 4pm. Our mini-con will be full of all things fantasy, sci-fi, comics, gaming, steampunk, anime, and more. Our theme for 2019 will be Space: a Universe of Stories. We will have special guest speakers, special events, vendors, and more that relate to this topic. This event will have programs for all ages that will teach new skills, provide educational insight and be entertaining while enjoying these different genres. The Library's Fandomcon is just the kickoff to our Summer Reading Program, so be sure to visit us throughout the summer for even more great programs!
