It's Astronomy Night at Cape Lookout.
We will have a Ferry Cruise to the Lighthouse with public stargazing. Tickets may be purchased through the ferry office. Matthew Bruce, a NASA Solar System Ambassador will present a laser tour of the night sky. The cruise leaves at 8 PM; passengers must arrive by 7:30 PM. Please bring a RED light flashlight, a chair, and bug spray.
Public stargazing begins at 9 PM.
For non-cruise visitors, our telescopes will also be set up behind the visitor's center for viewing the night sky.
Please, no pets, no flash photography, and use a red light flashlight.
