The Community Observatory will be closed on Friday August 21st and Saturday August 22nd, 2026 due to unforeseen circumstances.

There is no running water on site.   Public events require accessible, sanitary restroom and handwashing facilities under California and El Dorado County health guidelines.

Reopening is dependent upon parts and repairs.
