Discover the night sky from Assateague Island! The event will begin with auditorium presentations followed by stargazing with telescopes and Perseid meteor shower viewing (weather permitting).

Night Sky Observations through Telescopes
8:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.
 at the north end of Parking Lot #1
(Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather; refuge closes at 10 p.m.)

This series is a continued collaboration between Assateague Island National Seashore, Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation, and the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center.
