Dr. George Hassel from Siena College will speak about Astrochemistry at 8 PM on Friday, July 18, rain or shine. He participates in research to simulate the evolution of chemistry in star forming regions, with a goal of studying the chemistry related to the formation of life in our solar system, and the likelihood of forming organic chemistry in other regions in the universe.

Outdoor observing to follow, weather permitting. 588 Middle Road in Knox (Delanson 12053 for GPS). All are welcome. Family friendly! Telescopes will be provided, or bring your own. Free admission (donations to Dudley Observatory graciously accepted), free refreshments.
