Saturday  Aug 15th EAS Meeting
Science from Artemis II mission
Dr. Ryan Watkins  discusses the lunar science of Artemis II.

Dr. Watkins is a Program Scientist in the Exploration Science Strategy and Integration Office at NASA Headquarters in DC.
She was Observation Planner, and a Crew Data Analyst, in the Science Evaluation Room in Mission Control during the Artemis II mission, where she helped plan out observations Artemis II crew took during their lunar flyby, both by the humans, and by various instruments and cameras.

Her research has focused on understanding effects of lander rocket exhaust on the moon, and on understanding the unique volcanic features on the moon.
At NASA, she runs programs that solicit for payloads that will fly to the lunar surface on both crewed and robotic missions, and contributes to developing NASA’s lunar science strategy.
