International Observe the Moon Night Star Party

THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR EVERYONE!!!! 

Celebrate International Observe the Moon Night with the Skywatchers Club during an evening of lunar exploration, astronomy, and family-friendly activities!

Join us as we participate in NASA's worldwide celebration of the Moon by observing its craters, mountains, and maria through multiple telescopes while learning about current lunar science and NASA's Artemis campaign to return humans to the Moon.

Throughout the evening, visitors will enjoy guided telescope viewing, Moon-themed educational exhibits, interactive hands-on activities for children and families, and opportunities to learn how to continue exploring the night sky at home. Club members will be available to answer questions about observing the Moon, using telescopes, and getting involved in amateur astronomy.

Activities include:

• Guided Moon observations through telescopes
• Astronomy and lunar science presentations
• NASA Artemis educational materials and resources
• Family-friendly STEM activities
• DJ MUSIC
• Space-themed crafts and hands-on learning
• Raffles and giveaways
• Meet members of the Skywatchers Club

This event is free and open to the public. Participants of all ages are welcome, and no previous astronomy experience is necessary.
