The Houston Museum of Natural Science is conducting a "Music & Meteors" public viewing sessino for the Perseid meteor shower from 8pm-1am Thursday August 13 at the George Observatory.  

Fort Bend Astronomy Club supports the event by manning observatory telescopes and by setting up their personal telescopes “on deck” to provide additional viewing opportunities from 9:00pm-11:00pm.
