Star*Quest observatory is open for public stargazing every clear Saturday night from the beginning of April to the end of November (with only a handful of exceptions, generally involving other events happening at Jefferson Township Park).  Star parties begin 1 hour after sunset and continue for 2 hours thereafter, unless weather conditions change.  See our Facebook page for an announcement of whether or not we'll be open.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
This event included a reprise of Laura's talk about the upcoming solar eclipse (thus why it began well before sunset). There were roughly 2 groups and the talk was repeated twice as a result; not many people stayed for the star party which followed.
