We will be showing a movie followed by the Perseids Meteor Shower. The Perseids are a prolific meteor shower. We will be close to the peak and can expect 100-150 meteors (or more) and hour. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on the lawn.

Skywatching programs are held in Observatory Park, home to the historic International Latitude Observatory. Programs are free, but registration is required. Observatory Park is at 100 DeSellum Avenue. Parking is in the St. Martin’s field at Route 355 and DeSellum, two blocks from Observatory Park.
