Join us at the Rustic Oaks Park, 5101 Orange Blossom Ct. League City 77573 on the first Saturday of every month except in July and August (not enough darkness then) for a totally free and fun evening of amateur astronomy from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm (park closes at 10pm) rain or shine.  
In 2023, we will meet: Saturday Jan 7, Feb 4, Mar 4, Apr 1, May 6, Jun 3, Sep 2, Oct 7, Nov 4 and Dec 2.
Besides current celestial events, we typically show a 30’ model of the solar system (Sun to Mars) around 7:00pm for kids of all ages.  We allow free supervised access to various telescopes while encouraging binocular observations.
In the shelter we have laptop displays of free astronomy software, DVDs and astro pictures (a saver when the weather is bad), science magazines, flyers describing the moon and its phases, the major constellations and asterisms, a list of relevant URLs emphasing free software from the nets and local clubs.
