Event

Hey Stargazers,

Well this crazy weather pattern continues.  Clouds and rain on the weekend and crystal clear mid week. In light of that we are going to seize the opportunity and once again gather at Tanbark Overlook tomorrow evening Tuesday 10/13.

Tanbark is located about 6 miles North of the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  It is the first big overlook on the Right side of the road going North

There really aren't enough descriptive adjectives to describe how good the conditions are......

Pop ups are open to anyone who enjoys the beauty of the night sky. You don't have to have  gear to join in.  We all share the view.

Sunset is around 7 pm, observing stars shortly after.  Plenty of eye candy for everyone including a vivid Milky Way.

As always gracious tech support is available for newbies and oldsters alike

Get off the couch, put down your screen, come up and join us for some Natural Beauty under and amazing dark sky,

Call or text if you have queries.  Drop a quick note if you are planning to join us

clear and steady for all,

Alan
