Join members of the Lowcountry Stargazers for a night of astronomy each Wednesday as Brittlebank Park.

Telescopes will be set up to look through.  Never a cost...free!

All ages are welcome.

We can't see through clouds and won;t set up if there is a threat of rain.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had clear skies and a nice group of visitors at the park. There were 9 members and a total of 20 visitors in all. There were a number of member telescopes and a few visitors with their own equipment. One visitor had a very nice large handmade Truss Dob telescope that he was getting first light on. Among the different telescopes that were set up, we had 3 smart telescopes showing nice images being captured in real time and displayed on tablets. The crescent Moon and crescent Venus put on a great show.
