Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had a great night at the Park. The sky stayed clear all night and there was a lot of activity. We mostly focused on the crescent Moon, Mercury, Saturn and the EAA scopes were on M27, M57, M13 and M31. Lauren Leibman from the Post and Courier newspaper was there early and interviewed a few members and visitors for her upcoming story on the Lowcountry Stargazers. We had another good member turnout with 12 members, 4 OTA scopes, 5 EAA scopes and 1 binocular setup. This is the first time that the EAA scopes outnumbered the OTA scopes. We had 35 visitors.
