Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had many guests show up at sunset so there was nothing to look at first. There were times when our Greeter barely had time to explain the ground rules before another group showed up. Double stars, open and globular clusters, galaxies, a few meteors, Saturn, Neptune, and later on Uranus, were available for viewing. Andromeda at zenith was nearly naked eye ne couple was in A2 from San Francisco ("the bay area") for business and wanted to attend. an astronomy event. Some young guests knew star names and even stellar evolution. Don Fohey was our OHC and Ken Cook our Greeter. Jack Brisbin ran the observatory and Norb Vance helped on the field. Adrian Bradley ran his Seestar S50 at the observatory as well. Numerous other club members also showed up to help, including Bill Paulson, Brian Ottum, Barry Wissman, Tim Miller, Keyon Warren,
