Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had clear and steady skies for our last scheduled open house of the season. We had 33 guests come out to enjoy it, and many were families. Saturn impressed as always when it is visible, and the guests really enjoyed the views of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, which was the last opportunity to show it at a public venue before it fades away. Club members assisting were Ken Cook (greeter), Jack Brisbin (operating the observatory, Don Fohey, Jim Forrester, Barry Wissman, and Brian Ottum.
