Featured Presentation
"Mapping the Milky Way in Space and Time", presented by Josh Roberts, director/astronomer at Astro Everywhere.
Presentation synopsis: Understanding something as massive, complex, and ancient as our own galaxy is a daunting task - especially from our position inside the Milky Way. By carefully mapping what we can see and comparing it to other galaxies we can observe at a greater distance, astronomers are coming to piece together the nature, structure, history, and fate of the Milky Way as we have never known it before.
