The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society is hosting the annual Night Under the Stars celebration on September 19th at Rainbow Park Observatory at 301 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho (Behind Rainbow Pool). Our guest speaker is Tony Hull, project leader for the James Webb Space Telescope, who will talk about the JWST’s latest discoveries. He will begin his talk at 7:30 PM. There will also be a silent auction and family activities including sun and star gazing, weather permitting. Hot dogs, chips and sodas will be available for a donation.
Activities begin at 5:00 pm with the JWST talk starting at 7:30. It is free and open to the public.
