Please join us for the monthly SAS All Members Meeting.  Speaker for the June meeting is Dr. Tim Hunter.  
Theft of the Night - Fighting Light Pollution - Protecting Remote Observing

Remote observatory operation
Since 1986, Tim Hunter has been interested in the growing problem of light pollution.  In 1987, he and Dr. David Crawford founded the International Dark-Sky Association, Inc. (IDA).  IDA is a nonprofit corporation devoted to promoting quality outdoor lighting and combatting the effects of light pollution. Since 2007, he has written a weekly “Sky Spy” column for the Caliente Section of the Arizona Daily Star.

New member and guests are invited to ask questions and meet some of the existing members. All attendees are welcome to our Zoom teleconference.  Please make a "Zoom" tag to help everyone get to know you.
This meeting begins at 7:30PM with SAS business, followed by the eveing presentation..
