White River ELC Public Star Gazing

Come join us for a night of stargazing in a new, darker location, White River ELC in Buckley.  We will have telescopes for people to look through or feel free to bring your own.  The fun starts just after sunset.  We have moved closer to Buckley in order to get out of the city lights. For new astronomers we are starting off the night with a program we are calling "Welcome to Stargazing".

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
First time at the new star party location with much darker skies. Problem was parking lot lights on for first half of event. Then when they got turned off we were plunged into what seemed like total darkness and everyone cheered.
