Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
The morning started out with high thin clouds, but enough to reduce contrast to the point that Mercury could not be detected until around 8:30 EST. Our set up at the Community College next to the Student Union building was ideal. The CC alerted local news outlets and the event was covered in the Valley Daily paper. There were 2 classes of Governor School students(advanced high school class) that came out to view the event live, after having viewed it via internet broadcast.
