Alex Martin, previously of Sidewalk Science Center, will tell us all about his recent experiences as "The Hiking Astronomer". Currently he visits cities across the United States providing free sidewalk astronomy and private stargazing tours. Over the years Alex has hosted more than 1300 sessions and welcomed over 260,000 visitors to his telescopes and science experiments.

Alex Martin gave us a fascinating recap of his life as "The Hiking Astronomer". Since leaving Florida in 2024 he has traveled all over the country hosting impromptu sidewalk stargazing events that are free of charge and many paid private events. Since 2018 he has hosted more than 1300 sessions and welcomed more than 260,000 visitors to his eyepieces.
