Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Just a little follow-up report from last night's public night. It was a great night from a weather and seeing standpoint, and we had lots of visitors! I counted 25 adults, 4 teens, and 5 children. A family who came early in the evening brought their own chairs and set up their 10 inch dobsonian telescope on the grounds for some observing. As folks came through in the early parts of the night, I was able to share my binoculars with everyone and give them a better view of comet A3, which was a fun interaction to have with visitors on my end. Matt White had the Clark focused on a nice view of Saturn. The 10 inch in the back, led by Steve Hubbard, also showed some nice Saturn views and I heard the guests got to see some nebula as well. Overall great night! Katie
