Exhibits and demonstrations, produced by JPL, describing the NASA Europa Clipper spacecraft and mission. St. Louis was the first stop of a multi-city tour. Exhibited at the St. Louis Aquarium in Union Station. JPL crew assisted by local NASA Solar System Ambassadors.

Instructions for the Public:

The Europa Clipper spacecraft, scheduled to arrive in 2030 following a six-year journey, will probe Europa, one of the large satellites of Jupiter. Its instruments will measure the depth of the icy crust and of the ocean beneath and analyze the composition of the surface ice and very thin atmosphere. The exhibit explains the mission and the functioning of the spacecraft's instruments and provides demonstrations of the physical principles behind their functioning.

Rich Heuermann - my schedule was Thursday, June 13, 8:00AM to 1:30 PM; Friday, June 14, 5 :00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, June 17 - 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Total 15 hours. Michael Hoke, also a member of the St. Louis Astronomical Society, and I were part of the nine member NASA Solar System Ambassadors group who volunteered to assist the five member JPL Event Specialist team that installed and manned the exhibit during its St. Louis display at the St. Louis Aquarium.
