The "Gateway to the Stars" program is a unique opportunity to showcase our club and St. Louis to visitors from around the world.  

We setup at the Arch Main Entrance Plaza where the traffic flow is the heaviest. The park issues a limited number of parking placards that allow volunteers to park on the north side of Market St., just west of Memorial Dr., adjacent to the Plaza.  This is less than 100 yards from the viewing area making access very convenient and easy. A "Ghosts of the Arch Grounds" presentation will be held at 6:30 pm on the Entrance Plaza.  If skies are clear, the telescope viewing is sometimes very well attended during the early part of the time, so we suggest setting up about 6:30 even though its not dark yet..  The Visitor Center will be closed during this program.
