My name is Elegan Kramer, and I am a science teacher at Parkway West High School and the sponsor of Beta Chi Pi, a science honors society. Beta Chi Pi aims to recognize excellence in the pursuit of science, provide opportunities to learn about science topics and careers, and serve our school community.

This school year, Beta Chi Pi wants to serve our school community by bringing science through an inaugural STEM night. At STEM night, Beta Chi Pi members will be at tables leading STEM activities, demonstrations, and/or experiments for elementary students and their families. I am hoping to have additional tables showcasing local STEM companies and organizations.
