Brandon Burnham is hosting a class about the upcoming Solar Eclipse at the Thayne Libarary. Due to the large amount of people expected to show up, it will be hosted in the gymnasium behind the library. Come learn how Solar Eclipses and Lunar Eclipses are created! Also learn how to safely view the Sun. The Lincoln County Helath Department will be there to hand out solar glasses for free!

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Brandon gave a presentation on the upcoming Solar Eclipse. He demonstrated through the use of a bright light, and small white Styrofoam balls, how the eclipse is created. He also explained through the interactive activity how Lunar Eclipses are created. He also emphasized safety when viewing the sun. It was a great turnout, and a lot of questions were asked and answered.
