Our Dynamic Sun Toolkit - 2025

In partnership with NASA HEAT, we are thrilled to present you with a new set of Solar Resources to use at your outreach events, with or without a telescope to answer common questions, give new perspectives on the Sun, and highlight NASA's work to understand out closest star. 

Our Dynamic Sun Cards: This set of 13 cards address common questions about the nature of our Sun and its effects on Earth and beyond. They are perfect for informal educators to use with or without a solar telescope, while hosting a daytime science event, or to share the wonder of NASA solar science with a small audience. Print double sided or two to a page and fold in half. 

Our Dynamic Sun Banner is a great way to showcase the features shown through a white light filtered or h-alpha telescope, as well as the Sun as seen through NASA's space satellites. This can be printed on a 2'x3' banner with the large file listed below or download as a handout in the smaller files linked here. 

 

 

Our Magnetic Sun (2012 Version) 
This Toolkit provides activities and demonstrations that explore the Sun and its powerful magnetic fields, how these fields generate the features we observe, and how the Sun's magnetic activity affects our way of life and technologies here on Earth.
