We are hosting an urgent humanitarian fundraiser for displaced refugee families and would be honored if HAS members could join us with telescopes for a night-sky viewing session.
Event: Ramadan Refugee  Fundraiser all proceeds to emergency shelter, medical aid, and food distribution (see our attachments to see the work we have done).

Date/Time: Friday March 6, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Location: GALAXY PLAYLAND - 10788 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072 
 

What we're asking:
• 2–3 HAS members with portable telescopes
• 60–90 minutes of guided viewing (Moon, planets, visible constellations)
• Brief constellation tour and Q&A
 

• Donations from attendees (pass-the-hat)
• Prominent feature on all event flyers and social media
• Promotion of HAS membership to our donor base
• Acknowledgment during our appeal
