Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
After a number of cancelled sessions due to poor weather and a Riverdogs home baseball game, we had a wonderful night at Brittlebank Park. We had a beautiful 5-day old Crescent Moon at look at. Jupiter and Venus were up as well as were some very nice open star clusters, the Orion Nebula. The EAA scopes imaged quite a few galaxies. We had 9 members, 3 OTA scopes, 3 EAA scopes and one pair of binoculars. We had 40 enthusiastic visitors that kept everyone busy all night.
