Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Considering the number of previously canceled events, it was nice to have clear skies and great conditions last night for our Wednesday in the Park outreach program. This is the next to last program before we take our summer break during the months of June, July and August. We had a very large and enthusiastic crowd of about 40 people, many of whom brought out their own telescopes. There were 12 members present, with many additional telescopes and binoculars for all to experience. The Crescent Moon in near conjunction with Jupiter and Venus put on a great show. Other deep sky objects were also shown along with real-time images from a number of EAA telescopes. The last group of visitors arrived at 10PM
