Comments and anecdotes about the event:
This was our first successful open house of the season. We had very good skies to view Venus and Jupiter in near conjunction, and a variety of DSO's. We continued until about 2:30 AM. Jack Brisbin, Brian Ottum, and Norb Vance were stationed at the observatory while up at the radio dish were Jim Forrester, Tim Miller, Barry Chapman, and Don Fohey setting up telescopes for public viewing. Ken Cook was our greeter.
